Oban to Craignure Ferry (Summer)
Caledonian MacBrayne (Calmac) run a ferry from Oban to Craignure (Mull) which takes about 50 minutes each way.
Starting this year on 27th March there will be TWO ferries on the Oban-Craignure route during the summer season, providing an extended service with ten sailings in each direction on weekdays (plus a late sailing at 21:45 on Fridays), and eight sailings on Sundays. Some variations apply. See Calmac for timetable and fares.

Booking for your car is advisable at all times, and essential in the peak season. You need to check in at Oban pier at least 30 minutes before sailing time. Travel Times & Distances on Mull
Pedestrians are not required to book, and tickets can be bought on arrival at the pier. Pedestrians must board at least ten minutes before sailing time.

Other Car Ferries to and from Mull
There are also Calmac car ferries from Lochaline (Morvern) to Fishnish (Mull), and Kilchoan (Ardnamurchan) to Tobermory (Mull). For Iona you take the ferry from Fionnphort (Mull). Check with Caledonian MacBrayne for bookings and fare options.
Bus connections to Fionnphort
On week-days the bus meets the ferry services which depart Oban at 0745 (Mondays 0645), 1220 and 1555hrs. On Saturdays there is an addiional bus to meet the 1400 sailing. This may be subject to change, please consult the bus timetables.
